offer an option to filter sparring events because otherwise they overwhelm the monitor

can we do that -- just eject the sparring messages from the queue before they push other messages out?

I would appreciate a way to disbale sparring notifications as well. This seems to be a popular request. Here is a collection of threads or comments of people requesting a solution to sparring notifications or complaining about them.
