Can't clone the repository

Hello,

First of all, I really love this project and how well structured it is. I am having trouble when trying to clone/download the repository, due to the obvious large size. I am already trying to do a shallow clone to ensure minimal download size:

git clone --depth 1 https://github.com/D3Ext/aesthetic-wallpapers

However, after more than 12 minutes of execution it only fetches at most a total of 20 MB (which is approximately a 6% of all the content). I am aware this might be a dumb question, but is there any efficient way of cloning it or am I missing something here?
