issues about rendered normal map
I tried to test on my own data. The generated meshes are mess. I found out that there are issues about the rendered normal maps which are generated from validate_normal_patch based. I attached the normalized one and the rendered one. Not sure if it causes the low quliaty of generated mesh. Do you know if any mistakes I made here?
Thanks for your time.
It seems that the camera parameters are not correctly calibrated or handled, since the normal maps from different views appear to overlap when projected into the same view.
I re-aligned photos by metashape as you suggested. And convert to cameras_sphere.npz afterwards in order to have same coordinate system. Unfortunately the issue still remains.
I don't know if it is related. I captured just two views to verify, and the target object is not complete. Do you aware what kind of mistake I made?
Thanks.
I adjusted coordinate system manually. Now the loss seems not decreasing. How can adjusting parameters help. And the rendered normal map looks different. I think I solve the camera calibration issue. But there remains other issues. What 's your suggestions?
Thanks.
Finally I got mesh, but I think its quality is far away from expected.
I'd like to confirm, does SuperNormal's coordinate system define the x-axis pointing right, the y-axis pointing up, and the z-axis pointing towards the camera?
Thanks
