[Urgent!] Upon updating to the latest version of AMP v2.5.0.12 every garrys mod server downloads a copy of TF2 server
Bug Report
Every single one of my garrys mod servers x20 is currently downloading a copy of team fortress 2 dedicated server, all I did was update following the official guide....
System Information
- Operating System (Including distribution name and version number) - windows 10
- AMP version and build date (Always use the version number, 'latest' is not valid!) - v2.5.0.12
- Which AMP release stream you're using (Mainline, Nightly or FastTrack) - mainline
I confirm:
- [x] that I have searched for an existing bug report for this issue.
- [x] that I am using the latest available version of AMP.
- [x] that my operating system is up-to-date.
- [x] that my checkboxes above look exactly like the one on the left with no extra spaces. Remove this line to confirm you can follow instructions - if this line shows up in the bug report then the whole report will be ignored
Symptoms
- What are you trying to do? - boot my servers after an update
- What are you expecting to happen? - not download 20 copies of TF2 server :(
- What is actually happening? ('Nothing' is not an acceptable answer!) - every server is trying to install tf2 dedicated server
Reproduction

- I have no clue... I just updated and everything is a mess now.
I can't even start my servers because of this
You have another post saying you were trying to migrate to the generic templates. But here you say you only updated the instances. Just to be clear... You're trying to use the official source module still to run the old copies of the games? Try changing the game selection from what it's on to something random, then back to Gmod.
I have multiple bare metal servers, which is why I made a separate issue for this. The dropdown was set to alien swarm...
Either way this should not have happened where every existing SRCDS module grenaded itself. I have hundreds of gigs of tf2 servers now across our datacenters
Closing as this has not been reported by others. Seems to be a one off fluke.
