Better explanation for Sparse Range

I've got an implementation of FSEQv2 working fine thanks to your documentation, but I haven't figured out how Sparse Ranges work and the documentation here is a little "sparse" ;) Also my sample files didn't have any sparse ranges, do you have any examples?
