BEAUti 2.6.3: unlink trees broken (+ possibly problem with removing partitions)

Hi! I have and xml file with linked trees and linked clock models for all (6) partitions which I created in BEAUti 2.6.3. I would like to modify the BEAST run by removing one partition. When I do this from the "Partitions" tab by selecting a partition to be removed and pressing "-" button the Tree prior is not in the "Priors" tab (i.e. for my particular xml file it is Birth Death model and its rates which are missing) and are also missing in the generated xml file.

I though the problem might be that the trees for all partitions are linked . So I tried to unlink the trees (by selecting all partitions and pressing "Unlink trees" from the "Partitions" tab) but the "Unlink Trees" button does not work.
