Using multiple rich edit boxes with text toolbars will cause one text toolbar to modify both rich edit boxes

Open DanielGlick opened this issue 1 year ago • 0 comments

Describe the bug

When I place 2 rich edit boxes, both with a text toolbar attached on the UI, the one text toolbar will modify formatting for both of the rich edit boxes.

Steps to reproduce

RichTextWeirdness.zip

Open up the sample project
Launch RichTextWeirdness (Package)
Put focus on the first rich text box

Press Ctrl+B
The bold is toggled

Notice that the second rich text boxes toolbar also now has the bold button toggled

Expected behavior

The second rich text box's text toolbar Bold should not be toggled because the second text toolbar has its editor set to uiRich2 (MainWindow.xaml.cs)

A similar issue also occurs by clicking the bold toggle button
