"Disable Steam Integration" doesn't work

Summary

The option to "Disable Steam Integration" so that social doesn't report that you're playing "Borderless Gaming" doesn't work, and sometimes isn't even listed as an option in any of the menus, it just disappears. This is present in both 9.5.6 and 10.0.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Fire up Borderless Gaming
  2. Select "Disable Steam Integration"
  3. Steam Friends still reports that you're playing "Borderless Gaming" instead of the game you're playing.

OR

  1. Fire up Borderless Gaming
  2. "Disable Steam Integration" is not listed in any of the menus.

i have this issue still. Disable steam either doesnt appear or doesnt work.
