Which is the easiest way to uninstall it?
I installed it but I have multiple errors. Also, the performance test was not as expected.
Revert all symlinks done from dotly in ~/
- .bashrc
- .zshenv
- .zshrc
Remove ~/.dotfiles
Hi, where is the original dot files backup before the install? I want to restore my old config but I don't see the old files, cheers.

No backup is done with Dotly. Only a backup if you have previous .dotfiles folder is done but not for .bashrc, .zshrc, .zshenv...

From Ubuntu restore .bashrc to its default /bin/cp /etc/skel/.bashrc ~/
I followed these instructions but still getting some unwanted (for me) recommendations. What am I missing?

Reload the completions
rm -f "${HOME}/.zcompdump"
zsh -i -c "autoload -U compaudit && autoload -Uz compinit && compinit"
Thanks for your help. I executed these commands but I got the same result :(
Que bonito se ve en youtube y que ****** cuando lo instalas y ves el resultado. Gracias por la lección -> Haz copia de seguridad para evitar sorpresas que no cuesta tanto. :)
It's really messed up that this messes with Ubuntu terminals and no .bashrc backup is made.
I wanted to uninstall because I can't live without my prompt that has taken me years to tune. I got a little scared when I read that the user's initial configuration is not backed up, but maybe it's an old thread, since in MacOS, it is backed up in the ~/.pre_dotly_backup directory.
So at least on macOS, there is nothing to be afraid of. That said, there should be in the README a section to uninstall.
