What is the work that needs to be done?
We have run Portfolio in each region now at least once. I have been gathering feedback for a while now and I am making first revisions. This is on the understanding that the Portfolio can and should evolve as we re-run it.
I have begun revisions on the portfolio module, addressing the main topics raised by everyone, which are:
- When is graduation and what does it mean
- Where is the backlog
- The day plan isn't flexible enough
- Speakers aren't coming
- More project stuff - put them in the curriculum
- More demo stuff - rhythm of the week
- Make it clear people can use other languages
- Clarify requirements around eg attendance
- Surface more ways to evaluate portfolios and improve them, and share them more easily
I'll be updating this ticket as I go. I'm creating a couple of microsites around https://github.com/CodeYourFuture/CYF-Projects and https://github.com/CodeYourFuture/Module-Portfolio also.
