Bug description

When running the app in a different language than English (again: Dutch for me) whenever you hide an app from the appdrawer the selection for open app gets triggered for all swipe gestures. These are unescapable and have to be selected in order to close the pop-up and they do actually change the settings for both gestures.

For the English settings everything works as expected.

Steps to reproduce the bug

  1. Set language to other than English (i.e. Dutch)
  2. Set any gesture to open app
  3. Open app drawer
  4. Hide app using second option
  5. Get trapped inside 4 selection pop-ups

Expected behavior

To not trigger these selections on hiding any app..

Please give me more details as I am able to set the app to open using dutch just fine? I didn't understand the steps to replicate this issue

The problem is not in setting the gestures, it occurs whenever gestures have been set and then trying to hide any app through the app drawer.

Try this:

  1. Functions/App-Language/Dutch
  2. Functions/Gestures/Any Swipe/open App
  3. Functions/Gestures/Swipe Up/Open Applist
  4. Back to home screen
  5. Swipe up to open applist
  6. Hold any app
  7. Click 'Verborgen App' (Hidden app)

This is the point where the 'open app' screen shows up for me and is unskippable. It goes through setting up for all 4 gestures but only actually changing the ones you have set in the settings. If this isn't the case for you it might be a problem for my device or might have something to do with my system language being set to Dutch instead of manually setting it to Dutch from an English system?

Ya I'm not too sure I will need to test it on a VM and see as I followed your steps and that didn't do what you described.

Hmm, let me know if I can be of any help in this going further. Just tried setting my system language to English and now it doesn't occur. So the problem seems to have something to do with what system language has been set.

I've been doing some more trial and error and after changing my system language to English and back the problem seems to have fixed itself(??) I'll keep an eye out to see if it returns. Will check tomorrow what happens after reboot.
