Cannot discover the printer when connected to the WiFi printer

I'm trying to discover the printer using the getNetPrinters([ Model.QL_810W.getName()]) function when connected to the Printer's own wifi. I cannot findy any printer. This method only works when both printer and mobile are connected on the same home wifi network (not the printer's one). Is that expected? Thanks
