🐞 Unable to type when you open a new file

Description

You are unable to write anything on the new blank file, and I am unable to proceed further. However, this doesn't have when you open an existing file

To Reproduce

1. go to welcome screen
2. Click on a new file.
3. Try to type and observe the cursor on the file.

Expected behavior

The cursor should move, and the document should register the keystrokes from the keyboard.
