Bug: not all unicode characters are shown (Hebrew in my case)
V1.0.0.0
I try to switch to Hebrew using ALT+SHIFT, and then I type in it, but I don't see the text from Carnac on the screen showing Hebrew. It shows English instead.
For example, I type "ד" and I see "s" instead (same key, but different character should be written as I'm on Hebrew language and that's what was typed.
I think most apps fail to do this correctly. But I've found one that does: https://keypressosd.com/
I was looking for a similar issue. Currently, on an azerty keyboard, if I type "déjà", it shows as 3d2j03. Actually, the top row seems to be treated like a qwerty keyboard, or something. Mmm, not only that. It is OK if I type a or q, but <> show as \|, and so on. All non-alphabetic characters doesn't follow azerty keyboard layout. Is it something that can be adjusted somewhere?
I think I got some fork of Carnec that allows to show Hebrew characters too, but it has various issues, including showing as if I write in Hebrew even though I write in English, and writing the order of letters in the opposite direction (Hebrew is RTL language, so the text seems in the opposite direction).
I don't remember where I got it, but here are the files:

This is solved my problem too.
I should have put a link to it. No idea where I got it from :(
