First of all, thank you for this awesome work. It saved me many days of trial and error. Mostly error ;-).

Question: I can hook into componentDidMount(), but not componentWillUnmount(). Is this to be expected? I'm new to both React and VSCode extension writing.

It is possible that the unmount is working, but since the Webview Developer console dies when the Webview dies, I'm having a hard time figuring out whether the event fired. Breakpoints set in the unmount hook do not pause execution, which makes me think unmounting is not happening.
