FreeTube seems to not be opening when i remove the display. So I think I'll approve the other PR

Sorry @gtsop, I did not notice this thread. Maybe you can do something similar to how the imageCache setting is set and retrieved? It creates a file when it's set...
I am not familiar with crash pad but we do not do any configuration for it so this may be an electron issue?
