[Small Window Preview - 2025.3.14.1108]: Setting "Close on mouse click" being off results in failure of susequent interactions
预期行为
If the "Close on mouse click" is toggled off, then I expect any subsequent drag or press of a link to open the link in the popup window that's already been created.
实际行为
Dragging a link or a long press fails to work at all when "Close on mouse click" is toggled off.
复现步骤
- Go to https://www.rhymezone.com/r/rhyme.cgi?Word=much&typeofrhyme=perfect&org1=syl&org2=l&org3=y
- Toggle these settings in the script to off: -- toggle blur effect -- toggle close on mouse click
- Drag the "clutch" link. A pop-up window opens
- Drag any other link e.g. "dutch". The pop up window that's open is not updated with definition for "dutch".

其他信息
I really need this to work. Would be a lot more helpful too if instead of drag or long press, we can have more options. e.g.
- hover over the link for a couple seconds
- do a shift-click
- or, just do a click, based on the site e.g. I need it for rhymezone.com and craigslist.org

@electroarm Yes, man, this window is only allowed to be created once. If toggle close on mouse click is closed, then it is impossible to create any new window.

Try installing this? Now when you close Close on mouse click or Close on mouse Scroll, only one window will be displayed.
Thanks. That works, but not as desired. Can it be done without destroying and re-creating the window? That is, keep the window that's already created, and update any further dragged links into that window. Otherwise, it's hard on the eyes. I use rhymezone.com over a hundred times a day, and the constant window open/close is disconcerting. Just need one ever-present pop-up window into which dragged links are updated in.
I need a script similar to the way the NiftySplit extension works (it's no longer supported), or like the Edge split-screen feature that has a bonus of opening left-pane clicked links > into the right pane (works great, but I don't use Edge) .
Sorry, I accidentally clicked the 'completed' box. Please consider the above comment to re-open the issue.
