The reason it's not affected is due to the different elements involved.

I don't know what that means, or how it's relevant.

This is a settings issue, if you've got details on how to resolve, please share.

I don't think it's a bug because different elements are involved, so essentially, it hasn't been implemented yet.

If it's not a bug code/element wise, isnt Settings/Font Size not affecting font sizes in the same app/window a UX bug? I.e. Still a bug?

This column element is for editing, unlike the chat element.

So, it's not affected because of a bug, but because the font size for that hasn't been implemented yet for that.

I understand your point (it's a different code/window element, hence not applied by settings), and also I think u might be missing my point.

It is a reasonable user expectation that when they change Settings/Font Size it changes the font size within the edit window.

Regardless of why, codewise, it doesn't - for anyone that doesn't know the code/didn't build the thing, it would seem a bug. Hence, is a bug.

The solution could be to add features: A. Make Settings/Font Size affect inside that window (simplest). or B. Add another setting to affect the font size in that window (makes less UX sense).

And building either would solve this bug.
