The project still alive?

I know that isn't really a issue. But I would like to know if the project still alive, because I don't want to use an abandoned library in my project. The reason I'm asking that is due to the last commit was one year ago.

My personal opinion is that the project is currently only in maintenance mode. For my projects ChaiSript contains all the features I require, and I'm currently only interested in supporting newer compilers. The biggest issue I currently see are the performance issues and the issues described in #578 and #577.
