PMV comfort zone colour
The comfort zone is currently depicted on the psychrometric chart as a blue shape. In thermal comfort research, blue typically denotes cool. It might be more intuitive if that shape is coloured green to correspond to acceptable or comfortable. It could be the same green as the text overlay that shows when the values is within the zone.
@t-kramer, @FedericoTartarini, @tom-parkinson We originally selected that color to be consistent with the CBE colors. I will be fine with changing it to green (same as the compliance) if @t-kramer also agree.
If we change it, the changes will need to be reflected in other tabs (compare and ranges) and in all the subcharts (e.g., air speed vs. operative temperature).
@FedericoTartarini how would you change the colors in the Fans&Heat tab?
@stefanoschiavon I tend to agree with @tom-parkinson, green would be more intuitive. We are also using green for the EN16798 version, too.
@FedericoTartarini Let me know if you want me to make the change. Should be a quick fix.
- @tom-parkinson, thank you for the suggestion. I also agree we should change the colour to be consistent with the EN tab.
- @stefanoschiavon The Fan and Heat tab is a bit tricky since green over there refers to go ahead and use the fans and not to comfort. My initial suggestion is that in the Fan and Heat tab we keep the colour the same.
- @t-kramer I am attending a conference, hence, I would really appreciate it if you could implement the change in a new branch and then open a pull request so I can review it.
@FedericoTartarini regarding the Fan&Heat, I am ok to keep the same.
