In plots: filter is ignored when selecting gated cells for collage

When I try to filter cells on a plot (e.g., histogram or scatter) and then draw a gate/generate a collage of those cells, many additional events (not visible in the gate) are used to populate the collage. My interpretation is that the filter is getting ignored, resulting in the gating criteria being used for all gated cells from the (unfiltered) plot.
