We need to figure out what we hand in to RSEcon24 in UK. Notifying @tobyhodges .

Noting that there is currently also a call for expressions of interest in running satellite events to the main conference (half-/full-day, max 80 people). We might consider holding such an event around teaching/learning RSEng? Satellite events do need to be self-funded, though. Not sure of the cost.

Info on costs for a satellite event:

The room hire charges vary but if we base it on an 80 capacity in Catalyst, it would be £650 room hire plus ~£26 per person for a full day of catering

I doubt we will find the funds to cover this, so perhaps a panel discussion, a breakout session, or a poster are the better ways to go?
