Group part prevents bone manipulation from sources outside pac3

it seems that simply adding a group part to your outfit makes all the lua bone manipulations from other non-pac3 sources have no effect on your character, so for example the hoverbike vehicle manipulates player's bones, but once you add a group part it no longer does that, resulting in a normal sitting animation, or for example the petpet swep and the self-portrait camera allow you to move your arms, which works until you add a group part, also another thing i might add is that the halo effect that appears when you hover over the group part, actually shows the bone manipulation. it would be nice if this issue would get addressed.

also there whenever you try to finger pose a model and apply a group to it, pac3 simply resets bone manipulations and the finger posing is gone.

can you save the outfit and post here? It looks like you (or less likely someone/something else) put a bone part on you and is not part of your outfit.

actually we knew about this for a while. it's a reasonably big gripe for people who pose ragdolls for scenes.

just place a random ragdoll, do a random finger pose and put a group on it. it's as simple as that. there's no weird competition between part groups or players. it's just how bone transforms work in the game, they are written once and left at that. if pac erases them to resets its own bones because of how hacky bones are, the original bone transforms don't return. the difference between fingers and limbs is that main ragdoll limbs are physics, they retain their angle just fine because of the physics engine or something
