Not working

DVD player: 3.10E ; ISO name: All PS2 Slims - English language ; DVD type: Verbatim DVD-R

In the browser, it says "unable to read disc". When I start the console with the disc, it either says "unable to read disc" or a black screen that never changes I tried playing a movie and everything else but it doesn't work. What can I try ? I have a pal ps2 slim btw

Your laser lens are probably either dirty or dying.
