I keep getting disk read error when trying to boot off iso for 2.10 and 2.12. I also got a "disk could not be read" error on the DVD menu? that was very strange because it got stuck during the process of exiting the DVD player and then it would just show the media controls. will you be able to fix this issue?

I am also have a scph-39001 and I had that issue. I used CDBurnerXP to burn it and then I just got a black screen and nothing else. I can't get it to work (wasted 2 dvds).

Could be a laser fault, do ordinary DVD videos play properly?

Yeah, ordinary DVD's Play perfectly fine.

I also get a black screen on my SCPH-39001. I've tried different image burning software, unplugging stuff, &c. It reads DVDs fine otherwise.

I've been having the same issue, SCPH-39001 with 2.12U player and I get a black screen with the prebuilt ISO.

Also, using the "VIDEO_TS.IFO" and "VTS_01_0.IFO" for 2.10-2.13 with FDVDB ESR patcher results in a "TV system doesn't match" error.
