The Web-UI does not work with Google Chrome under Seven64

Open Pegaze opened this issue 14 years ago • 6 comments

The (my ?) Oneswarm Web-UI does not work with Google Chrome (build 15.0.874.121) under Seven64.

The main windows does not show the shared medias, the connected peers & the different tabs (Friends, Peers, ...) are not loaded. Just upload & download speeds are show.

If any search is done : the Web-UI just shows the 'footer' ("OneSwarm: 0.7.6.0 | Forum | Help")

I did a flush of my 1S working directory by deleting everything except the keys & osf2f dir. , but this not help ...

Regards

Are there any errors in the javascript console?

In Chrome: Wrench Menu -> Tools -> Javascript Console. Or right click on the page and 'Inspect Element', then click the console tab.

I'll check if an update to GWT 2.4 helps later today. I just need to find a windows machine :-)

I found nothing in the JS Console but when i do an 'Inspect Element' the Web-UI is correctly reloaded. :)

Seems to happen only when i try to load http://127.0.0.1:29615 in Chrome under Seven (but works on Ubuntu).

The "Show OneSwarm" action from the 1S task bar menu bar loads a full Web-UI.

I'm unable to reproduce this myself with chrome 15.0.874.121 under windows 7 32 bit (I don't have access to a 64 bit windows right now).

I did a new build with GWT 2.4: Can you try replacing your OneSwarmAzMods.jar with this one: http://update.oneswarm.org/autoupdate/OneSwarmAzMods3.0.5.0.7603.jar

(you need to rename it to OneSwarmAzMods.jar). The 7603 version is built with the latest gwt version (perhaps google changed something in the latest chrome).

The build 7603 does not help. :-/

I going to ask my community to see if I am not alone in this case.

Heya Devs !

We are 3 to use Chrome under MS-Seven 64b :

  • Two of us have the same trouble after a fresh install of the build 15.0.874.121 !
  • The third one has not these troubles with an old install (after updates, he has too the same build).

Regards.
