How to Disable OTA

My ESP is creating a WiFi network called ESP_91A62D when I turn it on. My guess is that it is for OTA updates. How can I disable that? I'm using the mqtt example. I checked the Makefile but couldn't find anything helpful for that matter.... Also, I'm using version 2.0.9
