when using vertical tabs please hide the titlebar
Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe. when I'm enabling vertical tabs I still see the titlebar at the top of the waterfox window.
the titlebar is not too much useful, since the title of the page is visible in the vertical tab. it is also wasted vertical space, which can be used to show other informations.
Describe the solution you'd like In place of the titlebar please change the layout to be similar to vivaldi, edge and zen browser:
like put the address bar at the top, and on the left the buttons to go back, reload, and on the right the button to control the window (close, minimize) and the extensions icons.

in these three browsers the vertical space is fully used, and it's more elegant than current waterfox layout.
I second this. Its important to clear up the vertical space. It's almost like the layout is bugged. The check box for the title bar in the customize option does not do anything when the vertical tabs is enabled
I'd like to add that on macOS the window control buttons could be on the left as well, next to the forward/back buttons.
This is still a problem on Kubuntu 24.04. Somewhat of a deal breaker personally, as Firefox does not have this issue.
Window titlebar is hidden if using classic horizontal tabs, but not when using the sidebar.
Would it be possible to do this manually, by just hiding the tabs themselves & turning off the “Hide tab bar while tabs sidebar is active” option in Waterfox Settings? Then, the address bar / buttons / etc could be manually moved into the newly-available space in the tab bar.
@amphyvi Great Idea! I got it working by just enabling the "Auto Hide Tab Bar" option!
