Request: Please put the gtk system theme option back.
Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe. The new G4 does not have the ability to use the default system theme on Linux. I have searched for it and it isnt there anymore. The window now sticks out like a sore thumb because it doesnt match every other windows theme.
Describe the solution you'd like Older versions had the ability to use the system theme on Linux in the settings. Please put it back.
I found a clunky way of getting Waterfox to use the system gtk theme. I added a theme from the addons site (arc-dark-theme). Closed waterfox. Then I extracted the manifest.jason and deleted all the theme colors. I added it back in to the xpi with xarchiver. I started Waterfox and removed arc-dartk-theme. I then installed the modified xpi. Waterfox complained it wasnt signed. I enabled it anyway, nothing changed. On restart Waterfox removed the modified theme but left the others disabled and used the system theme. So a way to make Waterfox use a system theme would only require that all the default themes be disabled. That isnt possible right now as Waterfox always enabled one when you disable one, but it might be able to be coded.
The latest update messed up the work around and I can no longer use the system theme. Looks like I will be going back to Firefox because out of the box it uses the system Gtk system theme. Instead its a glaring white theme that looks out of place in my dark themed system.
For me on G5 it works fine. It seems like G6 got it away though...
