Feature request: multiple LDAP servers

1. having the ability to specify multiple LDAP servers makes the app more resilient in case any server is down.

2. if the ldap server is down, on entering the username-password shows an error "An error occurred. An unknown error occurred" which doesn't clearly indicate it is an issue related to ldap.
