[BUG] TC001 does not boot with power supply connected

Open TheFreaker86 opened this issue 3 months ago • 1 comments

Bug report

Describe the bug

The TC001 does not boot and beeps constantly.

Additional information

  • Devices involved:
    • Model: Ulanzi Awtrix Smart Pixel Clock 2882 (TC001)
    • awtrix3 version: 0.98

To Reproduce

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

After the TC001 is switched off (manually or due to lack of power) and plugged into a working USB-power supply switching the device on again via the buttons results in a constant beep tone and the display stays dark. Unplugging the power supply directly after that does nothing. You have to switch the device off again via the two buttons, unplug the power supply while the device is off and then switch it on to get the device properly booted

Expected behavior

The device should switch on and boot properly

Screenshots

No screenshots available because the error occurs before device boot

Logs

No logs available because the error occurs before device boot

Additional context

After that, the device either goes into AP-Mode (which it shouldn't, but that's a different problem) or boots and works normally

Sounds more like an hardware issue. The Firmware doenst have anything to do with the powermanagement
