MQTT performance issue since 0.97

Hello,

Since 0.97 MQTT performance seems to have decreased, it can not read messages fast enough to keep the clock on time with https://github.com/toinux/anothertime

The mqtt manager doesn't have changed since 0.96. I don't see where the performance losses would come from. The changes actually only affect things apart from communication. I can try it myself the next days.
