Customizing and disabling backgrounds

I'd like to be able to choose a background or disable backgrounds. Having to choose one from the many you've put in the app, choose a custom one to leave permanently, or disable them entirely would be epic.

I think backgrounds are awesome but some of them are kind of distracting to me personally so I'd love to disable them or choose one. And I think others would too.
