Loading forever on phone with Firefox OS
I have a Geeksphone Peak with Firefox OS 1.2. When i go to http://ffos.hexgl.bkcore.com/ and install the app and start the app from the homescreen on the phone i get stuck when it says "Loading...". Nothing more happens.
It works in Firefox OS simulator on desktop but not on the phone.
Does it work directly on the website, after skipping the app install?
No it's the same. Stuck at "Loading..." screen.
Ok i run it with remote debugging and is says "Error creating WebGL context.". So WebGL it not supported yet. You could check for WebGL support before loading the game and give a message about it if not supported.
I'm running Firefox OS 1.2 with browser app version 26.0. I don't know if its possible to enable WebGL on the phone. Do you ?
I'm running a pre-1.0 engineer build on mine so it's already enabled. I'll add support checks next build.
I am also doing some experiment on Firefox OS. It is really extremely awesome! Although I have to do some work around on WebGL create context and some audio files would make me wait forever, it is still very good. I will share my own experience shortly.
