New subscription activated notification email of sent with incorrect Developer Portal Link
After migrating to the new portal UI the "New subscription activated" template points at the old portal URL. Other tempaltes seemt fine 🤔 ?
@smithimage, thanks for reporting the issue. We will make the following changes to solve the problem:
- Dynamically change portal URL variable value based on the portal used. [this should already be implemented]
- Let API providers to choose the deprecated portal vs new portal URL variable value when managing subscriptions in the Azure portal.
- Change the default email template going forward (remove links to issues, applications etc.).
- Prompt API providers who use the new portal and the default template to change the email template to new default.
the CDC found this bug and wondered when we'll fix. any estimate? thanks
@gregroe, which issue specifically and what's the flow that triggers the issue? I listed 4 points in the comment above, some of which have been implemented.
@mikebudzynski It would be great, if the notification templates were aligned with the new portal - #3 in the above list. Is there an update for this issue?
No update at this moment, it's on our backlog.
