acr ACR Usage is incorrect

Describe the bug ACR Usage is incorrect. For a period of time we have seen that Usage shown is not corresponding to what we expect to see in the registry. To demonstrate the point all repositories where removed. The storage dropped by expected amount, but still shows 185 GB for a completely empty registry(one without any repositories )

Expected behavior The Used space should be 0 if I don`t have any Repositories in the registry

Any relevant environment information

One of the possible causes of the behaviour is - repository is used to store build cache from buildkit as well as resulting images

How to make sure that the numbers are correct for the registry now and in the future ?

We are also experiencing the same issue. The portal shows difference usage metrics vs az acr show-usage. Are there any updates ?
