The possibility of having Masters with smaller hard drives

Open metabsd opened this issue 4 years ago • 1 comments

I am not able to build an ARO cluster with Master 128G hard drives. I succeeded using the installation solution included with Openshift. Via openshift-install or via the ACM solution.

We would like to be able to build a smaller cluster so that it is more affordable and especially that it is closer to our need.

I can understand that ARO offers up to 100 workers and that in this case it will require larger hard drives for the Master and especially more powerful. But in our case we have small clusters.

Thank you for your help!

my guess is no, as the Master Disk must be very fast. see: https://access.redhat.com/solutions/5956421 and https://access.redhat.com/solutions/4770281
