Azure Functions in isolated mode Integration Testing Strategy and Documentation

Request for azure functions (isolated) integration testing documentation, including running integration tests in CI/CD.

There does not seem to be much, if any documentation on integration testing isolated mode Azure Functions. There are various threads asking for this, but few responses that I can find and no documentation?
