Exporting PNG or JPEG is Saving a Blank File
When I try to save my map as a PNG or a JPEG, the browser goes black for a moment. It then asks for a location to save the file to. After saving the file, I try to open it, and it is blank.
- Export (any map. Auto generated, or my own map)
- PNG or JPEG (tried a lower scale than 8, and it still happened, but most attempts were scaled at 8)
- Save file as normal.
Browser blinks black between steps 2 and 3. Blank file generated after step 3.
System
- Version: 1.108.13
- Browser: Chrome 143.0.7499.41 (Official Build) (64-bit).
- OS: Windows 11 home 24H2 26100.7171
Make a smaller map, or use the export to SVG option if you require a huge PNG output. If you have a large Canvas Size (which is in itself unnecessary) and are also requesting upscaling it 8 times, your browser will crash and you'll get those pictures. if you need it huge, export to SVG, open it in a graphics editor and upscale as needed.
PS: Try Clearing Cache too
That happens when there is not enough memory to export the file. Significantly smaller scale should work.
