Don't advertise an update if the current OS can't install it
Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe. The menubar icon indicates an app update is available, but I can't install it because a later OS is required.
Describe the solution you'd like Don't show the update indicator if the currently installed OS can't install it.
Describe alternatives you've considered I can hide the menubar icon with Bartender, but the menu item is useful!
Additional context Sometimes a person needs to stick with an older OS for reasons...
Ah, yeah... that's definitely annoying! It's bit tricky here since I would also still like to notify you about a new release, making you consider once more to update your system. Yet, having a way to dismiss the update mention would at least be convenient. I'll think about that!
