Skip forward/back buttons disappeared from media notification
Description
After I opened up the media control settings in Pocketcasts the skip forward/back buttons disappeared. And there isn't any skip action to drag around to fix it.
Also I only see 2 buttons in the notification, but the settings suggest there should be 3.

- Open settings to the media notification /Android auto page
- Not sure if I even changed any settings before the buttons disappeared, but there are no skip options

I've found the same issue. The only media actions on the lockscreen are Next/Previous episode, speed (1x), and star/favorite with Play/Pause in the right side.

I think it's only 3 on Android Auto, it's 2 for normal Android users (tho maby not tablet users), regarding skip forward or back that might be a bug can't remember if that was fixed 🤔

The how many buttons can be shown is controlled by the the Android operating system and can vary based on the device.
The only media actions on the lockscreen are Next/Previous episode, speed (1x), and star/favorite with Play/Pause in the right side.
This was a bug that switched the icons in 7.38, and was fixed in 7.39, which should be fully released within a few days.
I've just moved to a new device, S20FE, Android 13, Pocketcasts 7.43, and I also no longer have the ability forward or back buttons in the notification area, only to move forward and back between tracks. How can I get them back? I use them all the time on walks
Samsung S22 Ultra Android 13. Lock screen shows Previous and Next, but not Skip controls. Tried toggling Extra Media Controls but no effect
release 7.44. But you are correct, it shows Skip tracks, but in fact act as Skip forward/ back. It’s really an icon issue. Also happens on Samsung tablet A8
Great, thanks. I can confirm I have the same behaviour. Force closing and reopening the app per the suggestion on that forum thread still shows the wrong icons.
