Feature Suggestion: Minimal Tray Icon
Changing the tray icon to fit the plain white Windows style is a must for me, I'm tinkering with Visual Studio and i managed to get a clean look with these if you like them
I did not mean change, i meant an option for minimalistic icons, given that the current one looks from the 2000s

That's probably due to either the GPU monitoring feature or having the system idle checking mechanism enabled. This should not result in a pause icon because ADM is not paused per-se, you are correct.
Should be fixed on beta now.

@TheConfax Sorry to bother you on this old thread, but I was curious if you (or someone else) could tell me how to change the system tray icon manually please? Thanks !

@mximbssrtedu you have to rebuild the project changing adm_tray_new.ico adm_tray_new_disabled.ico and adm_tray_new_paused.ico with icons of your choice
I used the icons above, full moon for on and empty moon for off/paused.
