I have similar issues even though I didn't use the ISO Injection Method. Here's my logs.

It's not just these errors. There are scenarios where many registry settings aren't added. :( It might just be that the ISO Injection method isn't working correctly. I'll check the standard installation method later.

Hey, I applied the playbook again. I connected my PC to the internet by an USB cable (USB Tethering) and this time, "Applying hives" worked. Use a wired connection and see if the problem persists.

I have the same issue, is it safe to start playbook again? I think atlas downloads smth from domain blocked by my country

kyceblake avatar Nov 15 '25 17:11 kyceblake

It seems that one of the domains is blocked in Russia. After switching my VPN to tunnel mode, I was able to complete the “Applying hives” step successfully.

@XMontech1337X can you point out the errors you talk about? Edit: sometimes applying hives can get stuck due to it trying to install a module in a region blocking it.

If that's the case, try using a VPN. Although to be honest this step is not essential for atlasos to work properly, as it is only for creating a new user

@kyceblake Yeah it is safe to apply the playbook again. Sorry if I'm late.

@TheyCreeper Hey, Could you check my log? I reinstalled windows and atlas but there still are some errors although not as much as before. Is that okay?

I'll look at it tonight. Could you provide the lines where the errors appear?

TheyCreeper avatar Nov 15 '25 20:11 TheyCreeper

@TheyCreeper Line 95,183,1084-1094.

And one more thing, When I create a new user, the powershell says preparing this user and when doing it, I see it saying Cannot find registry file or something and then setting firefox thing appears and it finishes.

I'll be heading to sleep now so I won't be replying.

@TheyCreeper Any progress?

CheekiSlav avatar Nov 17 '25 15:11 CheekiSlav

I haven't gotten the time to look at it yet. I have a bunch of stuff I have to take care of first before I can look into this
