Option to open "Unread" list when clicking bundled notifications

Currently, the notification experience requires too many steps to get into the reading flow. When multiple notifications arrive, they are bundled by Android. To access my content, I often have to expand the group and select a specific article, or the default click action doesn't lead me to the most efficient view. It takes about 3 clicks just to start reading through my new items.
Describe the solution you'd like
I would like an option to configure the notification tap behavior. Specifically:
When I click on the bundled notification header (the group of notifications), the app should open directly to the "Unread" articles list.
This allows me to see all new items in a continuous list immediately, rather than opening just one specific article and having to navigate back.
