Gocomics feeds are sometimes a day or more behind
I'm not sure when the feed scraper runs, but it appears to be a day behind (and has been for much of this week). The Sunday strips are currently available, but the Saturday strips are the latest in the feeds I subscribe to.
I should clarify that some feeds are a day behind. I see others in my list that are current. Some of the ones that appear to be lagging include:
- Breaking Cat News
- Frazz
- Pearls Before Swine
Several, however, seem to be up to date:
- Lio
- Scary Gary
This issue is caused by this page linking to day-old pages.
Sometimes the links are up-to-date. Sometimes they're not.
Ideally comicsrss would be aware of the day, and try to find daily comics that are a "day behind", or guess at the current day's URLs.
I have some ideas floating in my mind of how to fix this in a quick, performant way.
Looks like this happened again today. I assume it catches up eventually right?
