Build issue with v2 odata queries?

We have some legacy code where I need to apply the 'not so safe patch' to handle the problem with isolated context specified here.

Unfortunately, I am unable to build the solution. It appears that there's issues with it using deprecated nuget v2 odata queries (an example.

Does anyone either have a prebuilt version with the patch applied or a suggestion to a workaround for the build issues?
