Engraver makes some noises and moves when I press "upload" but when I then press "start" or any other button, nothing happens :S Is this a software problem?

Not sure about other folks but lining up images or inserted text is difficult to get centered, a grid would help in the display.

Connects to the printer after install the usb driver, but none of the controls (lef,right,up,down) work, etc. When I press RESET in the program - it crashes every time. debug...

Would it be possible to add an option to create profiles for different project instead of having to change and re-experiment to get optimal results when changing materials.
