integration tests committed by ckm do not work

Due to my terrible hackjob testing framework I've been able to accidentally pass tests (changed the file source path but didnt delete my local cache >.>...). I've resolved it in my current working branch that is unrelated to this issue but I don't think anyone is running these tests so I'm gunna assume that's fine. Will try to be much better about this but hopefully an integration testing solution discussed withy @dougollerenshaw, @nickponvert , @nicain will solve this issue anyway...

@mochic do you think the testing currently implemented in Bamboo solves this problem? Check out .bamboo/run_tests.sh for the command that runs the tests suite.
