Is this python3 compatible?

No commits in quite a long time, how is compatability right now?

No commits, because the project is complete and no new feature is needed to be added.

I don't think the project uses anything that might break compatibility with latest python version. If so, fixed could be make in 1 or 2 lines.

Please try it with latest python version, if anything should be easy to fix.

Thanks for the swift reply. I have actually been using it for quite a while but was in the process of bumping my python version to 3.9 and just wanted to get an idea of the risk of keeping this is a dependency. It does what it does really well ;-). Cheers.
