To add to this, when a baby dragon is on a shoulder and then is spammed by the horn when released, the horn attempts to use but fails

I'm thinking this may be a Jade incompatibility issue. I experienced this too, and I fixed it by, oddly, turning on hitboxes. That would expose the main hitbox of the dragon (not Dragon Part) and clicking on that would allow me to pick the dragon up. Even if I was looking at the main hitbox of the dragon before turning on hitboxes, Jade would still display Dragon Part and not allow me to pick the dragon up.

@SuperArcherG, were you also using Jade when you experienced the issue? And if you were, does turning on hitboxes fix it for you?

I was also using jade but I cannot confirm the relation between the two since I have hundreds of other mods, turning on hitboxes (F3+B) fixed it for me aswell.

Admittedly, I was a bit off the mark with Jade, but luckily I had a relatively small modlist and could easily test each mod individually to see which one was the culprit. After a short testing session, I found I could reproduce this with only Ice and Fire 2.1.13-1.20.1-beta-5 and Entity Culling 1.7.0 installed.

dissabling that mod fixed it <3

It's been a minute.

Instead of outright disabling the EntityCulling mod, it is probably better to instead add Dragon Part to the entity whitelist. In .minecraft/config/entityculling.json, add "iceandfire:dragon_multipart" to the entityWhitelist array. I don't know if you can do this from a GUI on Forge, the config button in the mod menu is grayed out.

I'll look into a PR in the EntityCulling repo for adding this to the default config. I don't think Ice and Fire can fix this bug, so I would close this issue.
